Dan Powell
Dan has been on his ShelfGenie journey in Raleigh, NC for almost 7 years. He has an engineering degree from Va Tech and an MBA from Duke. He used these for a 30 year career at IBM which came to an abrupt ending in January of 2009. He then teamed up with long time friend Andy Pittman in the ShelfGenie venture. He has found a passion particularly in the Design end of the business, loving the whole sales process and teaching others how to be successful. We are excited about the latest expansion of our business in Charlotte, NC which has taken off like a rocket.
Dan has a wonderful wife (and business partner) Linda who is also a Designer for Shelf Genie. They have four children, three of whom will be in college this Fall. Dan enjoys running (competes in marathons) and teaching the Bible. He is excited about the upcoming wedding of his son Eric and welcoming in a new daughter.
