Dave King
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pa., Dave moved to Houston with his wife Tona, in 1978 after working in Atlanta, Memphis, and San Francisco for a major computer company. Prior to that Dave was in the United States Air Force for 8 years.
Dave officially retired at the age of 62 in March of 2009, but quickly became bored with retirement. So in October of 2009 Dave answered an AD posted on Craigslist for a commissioned sales position with a brand new franchise opportunity opening in Houston.
That opportunity was ShelfGenie, and as they say the rest is history.
Dave has garnered many “Designer Sales Awards” along the way and in 2012 was awarded the prestigious “Designer Of The Year” award as the very best Design Consultant in the country for ShelfGenie.
Dave totally enjoys his work with ShelfGenie because he knows that every time he meets with someone in their home, he can design and install a “solution” for making their lives better every day with his ShelfGenie products.
